User Guide
Thanks for choosing a wireless high-speed Internet access from
CyberPoint. For properly access to the CyberPoint system,
please following these steps:

  • Set SSID or network name of your wireless client to be
    “cyberpoint” to access wireless system
  • Set network parameter of your notebook/PC/PDA to obtain
    an IP address from the system
  • Login to the system with your browser and your account
  • Logout from the system at http://192.168.50.1/cgi-bin/authgw-cgi

If you found any problems to following these steps, please call
our service center.

Step One : Set SSID or network name
The purpose of this step is to make sure that you can access the right wireless network by setting SSID or network name to be “cyberpoint” and all encryption and security of the client, such as WEP, EAP and LEAP, must be disable. Procedures for setting SSID or network name of each client adapter are slightly different. As following:


Zyxel ZyAIR Client Adapters (ZyAIR Wireless LAN Utility Version 1.0)
  1. Right click on the Network icon (looks like two PCs) for your wireless connection in the system tray at the lower right-hand of the screen, then select View Available Wireless Networks
  2. In Connect to Wireless Network window, select SSID “cyberpoint”, and then click Connect
  3. If successfully connected, ZyAIR Utility icon in the system tray will be changed from red to be green

Zyxel ZyAIR Client Adapters (ZyAIR Wireless LAN Utility Version 2.0+)
  1. Right click on the ZyAIR Wireless LAN Utility (symbol Z in red circle) in the system tray at the lower right-hand of the screen, then select View Available Network
  2. In Site Survey tab, click Search
  3. Select SSID “cyberpoint”, then click Connect
  4. If successfully connected, ZyAIR Utility icon in the system tray will be changed from red to be green Click OK

Cisco Aironet Client Adapters (Aironet Client Utility Versions Prior to 5.0)
  1. Launch the Aironet Client Utility
  2. Select Commands and then Edit Properties…
  3. Select the System Parameters tab and then type “cyberpoint” into the SSID 1 text field
  4. Set Network Type to be Infrastructure
  5. Click OK

Cisco Aironet Client Adapters (Aironet Client Utility Versions Prior to 5.0+)
  1. Launch the Aironet Client Utility
  2. Select Commands and then Edit Properties…
  3. Select the System Parameters tab and then type “cyberpoint” into the SSID 1 text field
  4. Set Network Type to be Infrastructure
  5. Click OK
